The app
Bay Mahjong plays offline and does not require an account. The app does not collect or transmit personal data to us. It has no advertising, analytics or tracking services.
Your game progress and preferences are stored locally on your device so you can continue playing. They are not uploaded to a game server. You can end your current game from the app’s Menu. Removing the app removes its local app data, subject to your device’s backup and restore settings.
If you choose Share Results, the app presents the system share sheet. You choose the destination and whether to send the winning-hand content. The service you choose handles that shared content under its own policies; sharing is not sent to us by default.
Support and the website
You can contact us at support@granitebaytech.com. Information you choose to include in an email, such as your email address, device/build details or a screenshot, is handled for support. Avoid sending unrelated personal information.
Website access logs are retained for 30 days. Support email is handled through Google Workspace; support@granitebaytech.com delivers to the operator’s mailbox. Support emails are archived for 90 days, or deleted earlier on request. To request deletion, email support@granitebaytech.com.
The website uses Google Analytics to measure website visits and usage. Its website tag sends usage information to Google and uses first-party cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Google Signals is turned off, and the Analytics property is not linked to a Google Ads account. This analytics runs on the website, not inside Bay Mahjong. See Google’s privacy policy and Google’s explanation of Analytics cookies.
Our Analytics account enables data sharing with Google for product and service improvement, aggregated modeling contributions and business insights, technical support, and recommendations for our business. Google describes these uses in its Analytics data-sharing settings.
Our Google Analytics property is configured to retain event-level data for two months and user-level data for fourteen months. New user activity resets the retention period for that user’s identifier. These settings apply to the relevant detailed data; they do not limit retention of standard aggregated reports. See Google’s explanation of data retention.
